I have lived in Portsmouth for over 70 years. I’ve worked in both the private and public sectors. IBM, Lewmar Marine, developed and ran Portsmouth Squash Club, and now the Nuffield Health Club

I also worked for PCC for 23 years, responsible for all aspects of Tourism and Marketing, Civic and Royal visits and with partners attracting major events. I worked closely with all the blue light services and chaired the Safety Advisory Group.

I retired in 2012 and since then I’ve been on a number of boards, such as NTR, Aspex Gallery, Highbury College and joined Portsmouth Creates in 2022.

I’ve always been active; horse riding, hockey, squash, skiing and sailing. I’ve had a number of accidents and now go to the gym, fitness classes and enjoy playing golf. I enjoy the theatre, art galleries, cooking and entertaining and looking after my two grandchildren.
