This series of five life writing workshops will encourage activists the writing of stories about local women’s activism, agency and campaigning in Portsmouth and the surrounding area. We want to hear from all those who have worked to improve things for their communities, their families or themselves. No prior creative writing skills are necessary, and a lack of writing experience is not a barrier to participation. We are hoping to collect your herstories into an edited collection in order to tell a female history of Portsmouth.
